Darnell Harris + Barika Harris, APRN

Darnell Harris and Barika Harris, APRN are the husband and wife founders of Alignment Healthcare Services, united by a shared commitment to improving the caregiving experience for patients and families. Barika’s passion for compassionate care is both professional and deeply personal. After witnessing the challenges of caring for her mother during her battle with Parkinson’s disease, she was inspired to create a service that families could truly trust. With nearly two decades of clinical experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, educator, and hospital based provider, Barika brings extensive expertise in patient centered care, advocacy, and healthcare leadership. Darnell complements this vision with a strong background in technology and healthcare innovation. His work focuses on building scalable, secure solutions that improve communication, streamline care coordination, and enhance access to services. Experiencing the caregiving journey alongside Barika reinforced his commitment to using technology to make healthcare more connected and supportive for families. Together, Barika and Darnell founded Alignment Healthcare Services to bridge compassionate clinical care with thoughtful technology, ensuring patients, caregivers, and families feel informed, supported, and never alone throughout the care journey.
